Easy ways to get free things!
Whether you’re a mom or not sign up for sites that offer rewards programs. A lot of times you can get the codes to earn points on the internet, without even buying the product! The savings sites I listed will post codes as they are available.
-Pampers gifts to grow
-Huggies enjoy the ride rewards
* even though they are for diapers there are other types of rewards that they offer, especially pampers
-Disney Rewards
-You can also join sites that give you points for searching through their website/toolbar.
I am a member of swagbucks and irazoo. I like to cash in my points for amazon gift cards. You need less points on swagbucks to get them but you earn more points at a time with irazoo. I’ve been doing this for a month and have earned a $5 amazon e gift certificate on irazoo and two $5 egift certificated on swagbucks!
Other tips:
-Don’t be afraid to try other brands! Especially if you have a coupon and its on sale! For example, I usually buy Tostitos salsa, but I have a coupons for chi chi’s salsa and I got the chi chi’s for 50 cents each compared to paying $2.99 for Tostitos!
-Bigger isn’t always better! For example, when buy diapers and wipes I always figure out the price per diaper rather than the price for the whole package.
Huggies jumbo packs are sometimes cheaper than the big boxes when you compare price per diaper! Yes, it takes time to stop and do this in the store, but it saves money! To figure it out take the price (if you are using a coupon subrtract the price of the coupon first) and divide it by the number of items or ounces or pounds.
For example:
Huggies Snug n Dry size 3 jumbo pack $8.99 (36 diapers in pack)
8.99/36= .25 per diaper
-Look for B1G1 deals and use 2 mauf coupons. Most internet coupon sites let you print two. Sometimes hitting the back button will automatically print you another coupon!
-Walmart isn’t always cheaper. I am finding more and more that target is cheaper than walmart, and that’s even before any coupons!
-If you are able to get an item for free almost free consider donating it..food banks or animal shelters or elsewhere!
